Discussion will include formulating comprehensive options to protect identified submerged aquatic vegetation, or SAV and more broadly as known as seagrass, habitat. SAVs are rooted plants that grow beneath the surface of fresh, estuarine and marine waters. These plants are vital to coastal and riverine habitats that support aquatic life and water quality.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. and is open to the public. The meeting will also be livestreamed via Webex. The agenda is available online.
