Hit the water with Cape Fear River Watch for what will be the organization’s final paddle of the season.
Paddlers are invited on Sept. 19 to explore about 5 miles of relaxing Rice Creek with guide Angela Marshall from Kayak Carolina.

Participants may meet at 8:15 a.m. at the Rice Creek Boat Camp, 797 Gordon Lewis Drive in Winnabow.
Early registration is encouraged to secure a spot. Admission to this event is $10 for those who bring their own kayak. Kayaks, personal flotation devices and paddles are available for rent for $25 per boat.
Cape Fear River Watch members who would like to borrow a kayak are suggested to make a $25 donation per boat. Members who would like to rent a kayak should confirm their membership prior to registering.

New and renewing memberships made by Sept. 21 will be entered for a chance to win a new kayak.
