Cape Hatteras National Seashore law enforcement rangers are looking for information about an act of vandalism at Cape Hatteras Lighthouse.
The seashore has launched an investigation and rangers are asking for tips from the public to help catch those responsible for using an object to carve letters and other shapes into the lighthouse’s original bronze door, the National Park Service announced Friday evening.
