The Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce is set to host an energy forum to discuss current and proposed projects in the state and along the N.C. coast.
The event, Sustainable Energy Options, will be noon-1:30 p.m. Jan. 28 at Jennette’s Pier, 7223 South Virginia Dare Trail, Nags Head.

Panelists are to include representatives from the federal Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, or BOEM, the N.C. Sustainable Energy Association and Joe Brannan, executive vice president and CEO of the N.C. Electric Membership Corp.
SAGA Construction and Southern Insurance are also sponsors of the luncheon.
Cost to attend is $25 for chamber members and $35 for non-members. Admission includes a boxed lunch.
