The nonprofit environmental group usually has one guest for the monthly seminars held the first Saturday of the month, but with an issue such as PFAS contamination, organizers said they decided to host several special guests to talk about PFAS, including GenX, from the health, policy and community impact perspectives.
Guests set to appear are toxicologist Dr. Jamie DeWitt, Clean Cape Fear’s Emily Donovan, Haw Riverkeeper Emily Sutton, North Carolina Black Alliance’s La’Meshia Whittington, and filmmaker Elijah Yetter-Bowman.
