The state Secretaries’ Science Advisory Board will meet at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 1, online via WebEx.
In addition to updates from Department of Environmental Quality and Department of Health and Human Services staff, DEQ staff will present information regarding the EPA’s reference doses for PFOA, PFOS, GenX and PFBS, bioaccumulation factors and their

The Secretaries’ Science Advisory Board is made up of 13 experts in toxicology, public health, ecology, engineering and other related fields that assist the state’s environmental and health and human services departments by recommending reviews and evaluations of contaminants, acting as consultants on DEQ’s determinations to regulate contaminants, and helping the agencies identify contaminants of concern and determine which contaminants should be studied further.
