The 14-member commission is to hear an update from Transportation Secretary Eric Boyette, receive reviews of its local government and finance workgroups from its members and have a demonstration of its new Creating Revenue and Finding Transportation Solutions investment tool.
As the N.C. FIRST Commission begins to make final decisions, there will be more discussion to share ideas and gather feedback from commissioners.
The NC FIRST Commission was created in March 2019 by then-Transportation Secretary Jim Trogdon to evaluate the state’s current and future transportation investment needs and advise the secretary of new or better ways to ensure that critical financial resources are available in the future.
