RALEIGH – Petroleum underground storage tank rules, air quality rules readoption and water quality permitting rules are to be discussed when the state Environmental Management Commission meets next week.
To be held at the Archdale Building in downtown Raleigh, commission committees are to gather at 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, with the full commission meeting set for Thursday, March 14.

The Environmental Management Commission adopts rules for the protection, preservation and enhancement of the state’s air, land and water resources, oversees some divisions of the Department of Environmental Quality, including the divisions of Air Quality; Energy, Mineral and Land Resources; Waste Management and Water Resources, according to the release.
