Photographer Jim Snyders captured this image, “Hanging Out,” earlier this month in Swansboro.
“The Swansboro area is a great area to find Pelicans especially around piers. I spotted this group just hanging out. I have found that by approaching them slowly you are able to get close enough for a nice picture without disturbing them,” Jim said in his submission.
