Duke University Marine Lab scientists, researchers and students will showcase their marine research at an open house Saturday, June 22.

The lab’s state-of-the-art facilities on Pivers Island in Beaufort will be open to the public at no charge between 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Attendees of the open house will have an opportunity to engage with scientists and students, who will be on hand to talk about their research and how it shapes our understanding of the marine environment and maritime communities.
This will also be an opportunity to learn more about the lab’s local outreach activities and ways to get involved.
