The North Carolina Climate Change Interagency Council will meet online at 10 a.m. Feb. 24 for updates on state building energy efficiency progress and transportation electrification efforts.
The efforts are part of Gov. Roy Cooper’s plan for a clean energy economy.

The public has the opportunity during the meeting to provide input to cabinet agency representatives on the implementation of climate change and clean energy initiatives. Comments will be limited to two minutes and speakers are asked to sign up online by 5 p.m. Feb. 23.
Cooper established the North Carolina Climate Change Interagency Council as part of Executive Order No. 80 North Carolina’s Commitment To Address Climate Change And Transition To A Clean Energy Economy.
