RALEIGH — The Secretary’s Environmental Justice and Equity Advisory Board is scheduled to meet at 3 p.m. Aug. 11 in-person in the Archdale Ground Floor Hearing Room.
The board was put in place in May 2018 to assist the Department of Environmental Quality “in achieving and maintaining the fair and equal treatment and meaningful involvement of North Carolinians regardless of where they live, their race, religion or income with respect to the development, implementation, and enforcement of environmental laws, regulations, and policies.”
