Online workshops are set for the second week of April for residents of the Albemarle and Cape Fear regions to discuss and identify areas subject to damage or loss due to climate hazards such as hurricanes, flooding and high winds.
The workshops are an initiative of the state-managed Regional Resilience Portfolio Program, which supports nine regional partnerships based on Council of Government boundaries in eastern North Carolina.

RISE aims to support resilience in the storm-impacted regions of North Carolina.

Workshops for the Eastern Carolina Council of Governments region, which include coastal counties of Carteret, Craven, Onslow and Pamlico, as well as Duplin, Greene, Jones, Lenoir and Wayne counties, are to be posted on the RISE website.
