CAPE HATTERAS NATIONAL SEASHORE — Put on some sunscreen and meet park rangers and the North Carolina Beach Buggy Association 8 a.m. to noon June 22 for drop-in volunteer beach cleanups.
Volunteer beach cleanup events will be held at the following locations:
Sponsor Spotlight
- Coquina Beach Access on Bodie Island. Meet park staff at the bathhouse.
- Old Cape Hatteras Lighthouse Site on Hatteras Island. Meet park staff in the parking lot.
- Ocracoke Beach Access. Meet park staff in the parking lot.
Trash bags will be provided. Volunteers younger than 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
