Water main repairs are ongoing with priority given to critical facilities such as the Brunswick Nuclear Plant and the hospital, where service has been restored.
As repairs continue, the system is subject to pressure losses that could require low-pressure advisories to be re-issued in areas where advisories had been rescinded.
County officials said that at no time did water that was not properly disinfected make its way to customers. All system advisories are the result of low-pressure from water main breaks that can have the potential to introduce contaminants into the system.
