HERTFORD – Perquimans County commissioners denied on Monday a permit for construction of a planned $300 million wind farm, the Daily Advance of Elizabeth City reported.
A conditional-use permit for Clean Energy’s Timbermill Wind proposal was rejected in a 3-2 vote, with the majority citing concern over effects on adjoining property owners.
