Photographer Jim Snyders captured this image, “Waiting for Sibling,” recently in Emerald Isle.
“Earlier in the week, most of the baby turtles from this nest made their way down to the water after dark. A few days later, the nest was excavated before dark and more were discovered. I was lucky enough to capture this image near the nest. With a little help, they also made their way to the water,” Snyders said in his submission.
