“Sea Treasures”

Photographer Jim Snyders captured this image, “Sea Treasures,” in May at the 6800 block of Emerald Isle.

“This morning everything came together with a beautiful sea shell, the sun was casting golden shadows on the small shells and sand near the water edge. The sun was also casting a little reflection on the large shell,” Jim said in his submission. He used fill flash with a piece of tissue over the flash to soften the light with an F-22 aperture setting for depth of field and to avoid overexposing the sun.
