The Offshore Wind for North Carolina coalition, or OSW4NC, is hosting a free informational webinar this month to discuss concerns related to fisheries, navigation and other issues related to offshore wind development.
The coalition, which aims to advance offshore wind in North Carolina, has invited numerous speakers for the webinar set for noon-2 p.m. Tuesday, June 21. Discussions are to include the status of offshore wind in North Carolina, the federal regulatory process as it pertains to fisheries, bioacoustic effects, navigational concerns and fisheries liaison and negotiation services. Time is being reserved at the end for Q&A and discussion.
