The North Carolina Environmental Management Commission will meet remotely Wednesday to take up agenda items left over from its meeting held 9 a.m. Nov. 19.
The meeting was specially called to address agenda items not heard during the meeting last month due to time constraints.

Remaining agenda items include Edge of Auburn Settlement Agreement Amendment action item and updates on the 2021 Coastal Habitat Protection Plan Amendment Amendment Process and the Solar, Wind and Battery End-of-Life Management Stakeholder Process.
The Environmental Management Commission adopts rules for the protection, preservation and enhancement of the state’s air, land and water resources. The commission oversees and adopts rules for several divisions of the Department of Environmental Quality, including the divisions of Air Quality; Energy, Mineral and Land Resources; Waste Management and Water Resources.
