The North Carolina Cooperative Extension’s Currituck County Center and the Currituck Public Works team are set to hold a household hazardous waste disposal day April 13.
Old paint cans, pesticide containers, batteries and other household hazardous waste can be disposed of at two locations in Currituck County. One is set for 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Judicial Center Complex, 2801 Caratoke Highway in Currituck, and the second is set for 9 a.m.-noon at the Southern Outer Banks Water Plant, 734 Ocean Trail in Corolla.
