WILMINGTON – New Hanover County Board of Commissioners Chairman Woody White and Wilmington Mayor Bill Saffo sent a letter to Chemours Thursday requesting that the company hold a meeting with residents here to discuss “progress made and future strategies to clean up our drinking water supply.”
The letter dated July 11 includes an offer to make a city or county facility available for the meeting and calls for a response “in a timely fashion.”
