Public hearings scheduled for early next week on the proposed Carolina Bays Parkway extension project have been postponed due to potential coastal storm impacts forecast for North Carolina and South Carolina.
The hearings that were set to be held in Sunset Beach Monday and again Tuesday in Longs, South Carolina, will be rescheduled for a later date, according to a N.C. Department of Transportation release.
