
The state board that oversees commercial fishing license eligibility is scheduled to meet this fall to review license applications.
The North Carolina Division of Marine Fisheries Standard Commercial Fishing License Eligibility Board is set to meet by conference call at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 22.

The board will consider applications deemed complete and submitted by Sept. 24, according to a release.
Members of the public are invited to listen to the meeting by calling 919-212-5733 or at the state Department of Environmental Quality Wilmington Regional Office, 127 Cardinal Drive Extension, Wilmington.
Those who call in are asked to refrain from announcing their names when they call and remain on mute throughout the meeting.
