Brunswick County Habitat for Humanity is accepting applications for its homeownership program. To qualify for the program, families must meet income limits, have the ability to pay a modest mortgage, and be willing to partner in the building of their home.
The Habitat for Humanity Homeownership Program offers decent and affordable housing solutions to individuals and families of low to moderate income who live, work, or worship in Brunswick County. Many Habitat homeowners are single parents, young families with small children, and those with disabilities.
Brunswick County Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1993 as an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, which calls safe and decent shelter a fundamental human right.
Habitat builds homes using volunteer labor, tax-deductible donations, and proceeds from their ReStore retail locations. Habitat homebuyers help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable, below-market interest mortgage.
