NORTH TOPSAIL BEACH — The town zoning board of adjustment is set to hold an evidentiary hearing later this month on a case of homeowners and their contractor cited for damaging dunes.
The hearing is to follow quasi-judicial procedures at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, at the town hall, 2008 Loggerhead Court, North Topsail Beach.

The meeting is to hear and decide Case No. AA24-000001, an application by Matthew Davis, to appeal Citation 23-00117 dated Feb. 1, issued to owners of 114 North Permuda Wynd Drive, Philip and Kristen Buckley. The town alleges that the Buckleys’ contractor, Coastland Construction LLC, violated a town development ordinance and assessed a penalty to cover the cost of rebuilding damaged dunes.
