Tickets are selling quickly for the Hatteras Island Oyster Roast taking place in early February.
The event to benefit the North Carolina Coastal Federation’s oyster education and restoration programs is scheduled for from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, at Oden’s Dock in Hatteras Village.

Tickets are $50 and each is good for all-you-can-eat steamed oysters, one serving of clam chowder, cornbread and a nonalcoholic beverage. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase from Carolina Brewery during the roast.
Desserts will be available for purchase from the bake sale, and there will be live music and a silent auction with many unique, regional items. The silent auction is now open and new items will be added each week.
Organizers recommend purchasing tickets in advance because the event has sold out in past years. Attendees 16 years old and under can attend for free with a paying adult.
