Brief road closures are expected Tuesday along N.C. 12 on the Outer Banks related to the filming of a General Motors car commercial.
The Anne Towers Production Co. of Los Angeles will be filming between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m., when there may be closures of shorter than three minutes.

Filming will take place at the Marc Basnight Bridge and other areas between Oregon Inlet and Hatteras Village. Filmmakers have been advised to minimize road closures during heavy travel times around 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., according to North Carolina Department of Transportation officials.
Traffic control for the event will be provided by the Dare County Sheriff’s Department and/or the North Carolina Highway Patrol.
