PINE KNOLL SHORES –The North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores will host Feb. 9 a Seaside Sensory Fun Day, an event designed to make the aquarium more accessible for families with children and adults who have sensory needs.
Activities are to include nature walks, weather permitting, as well as live animal programs, a sensory exploration room, a “quiet” dive program, calm space for families, guest guide passports and a chance to meet with local support organizations.

Space is limited for the nature walk and live animal programs. Families will be able to register for the nature walks and live animal programs on the day of the event, which is free with aquarium admission.
