The application process is now open for those who seek to offer commercial services next year at Cape Hatteras National Seashore, Fort Raleigh National Historic Site and Wright Brothers National Memorial, the National Park Service announced Thursday.
The application fee for the 2020 commercial use authorization is $200 and online payments are now accepted. One authorization will cover activities in all applicable parks. Authorizations are valid from the date of issue through Dec. 31 of the same year. Engaging in or soliciting any business in the parks requires authorization.

A newly authorized service at Cape Hatteras only is wedding equipment services. Other authorized services at the seashore include the following:

- Guided fishing services
- Guided horseback tours
- Guided waterfowl hunting
- Interpretive and educational programs
- Non-motorized boat tours
- Off-road vehicle (ORV) driving tours
- Outdoor fitness classes
- Photography instruction
- Road-based commercial tours and transportation
- Watersport instruction
New services at Fort Raleigh include guided fishing services and nonmotorized boat tours and new authorized services at both Fort Raleigh and Wrights Brothers Memorial include interpretive and educational programs and photography instruction.
