SWAN QUARTER — The fifth public meeting for the Lake Mattamuskeet Watershed Restoration Plan, originally set for July 10, has been rescheduled for 7-8:30 p.m. Sept. 18.
The meeting was rescheduled because of scheduling conflicts with other public meetings.

The July 10 agenda will be covered during the Sept. 18 public meeting at the Hyde County Government Complex.
During the September meeting, the planning team will present and discuss the priority actions to be included in the watershed restoration plan, according to the release. The meeting will also review technical presentations and research updates that are being used to prioritize future actions for the lake. There will be an opportunity for public review and input on the draft watershed restoration plan.
A final, day-long public open house will be held on Monday, Dec. 3 to reveal the full plan.
