Pete Kreps of Raleigh captured this image Sept. 4 at Kure Beach. “It was a beautiful night out and I was going for a clear shot of the Milky Way and this fisherman set up his gear in front of me. Instead of moving I thought this could be a more interesting capture,” Kreps said of his recent submission.
