Gov. Pat McCrory appointed Rick Catlin, a former state representative from Wilmington, to the state Coastal Resources Commission today.
Catlin represented District 20 in the state House from 2013 to his resignation in August. He co-chaired the House Environmental Committee. Catlin received a Pelican Award in 2015 from the North Carolina Coastal Federation for his work with groundwater quality.
