Photographer Brian Horsley captured this image, “Snack Time,” in September at Shackleford Banks, part of the Cape Lookout National Seashore.
“On the way to work I noticed a small herd of ponies on the north end of Shack. We moved the boat close enough to capture a few images,” Jim said in his submission.
