Photographer Brian Horsley captured this image, “Hungry,” Nov. 7 at Cape Lookout.
“This humpback was feeding in menhaden along Shackleford Banks. I have a a 12-shot series of this humpback feeding. It was shot with a 200 mm lens without getting in the way of the whale,” Brian said in his submission.
